Commonly found in the band rooms across greater Fort Wayne, the 567 is a full double horn with a basic design. Its easy response and sure note centering make it ideal for students — while its colorful tone and precise intonation make it attractive to professionals. This instrument was created with the player in mind, down to the smallest components, such as an adjustable fourth valve thumb lever and water key.

Conn 7D

Made two hours away from our store In Northern Ohio, The C.G. Conn 7D Geyer wrap French horn is designed with the student in mind. The ergonomically designed valve cluster and adjustable thumb spatula accommodate a variety of hand sizes. The small bell throat creates a fast response and ease of playability for the younger musician. The 7D is an exciting new addition to the legendary line of C.G. Conn French horns.

Professional French Horns

Yamaha YHR-671D

The YHR-671 is a traditional Geyer style horn that shares the basic YHR-871 design. It offers the clear tone, deep resonance, and overall performance of a high-end instrument while being easy to play. A traditional Geyer-style wrap is used with a medium size bell and thicker rim wire. The tone is rich and deep with a solid core.

Hans Hoyer G10

For those looking to own a very special horn, the Hans Hoyer model G10 is styled after the original instruments by Carl Geyer, who immigrated to the United States in 1903. The well-balanced design is very similar to the originals of the 1950’s, with rich tone colors and similar resistance. When you select the French horn that works best for you, our repair team will be happy to take one more look at this instrument to ensure you are getting an instrument that is ready to play immediately.

Careful attention was given to the positioning of the braces as well as on the ergonomic arrangement of the valve and thumb levers.
