While silver-plated keys of YCL-450 give a softer and warmer sound, nickel-plated keys of YCL-450N deliver a clear, focused tone.

New adjustable thumb-rest and strap ring

A new adjustable thumb-rest accommodates different size hands, helping the player develop proper playing technique. In addition, a strap ring allows for the instrument to be held without extra effort. Firmer screws and a silver soldered ring give this new feature excellent durability.

Features

The Leblanc Serenade has a beautiful and rich sound, exceptional keywork, as well as great innovations in tone hole placement resulting in superior response and intonation across the range of the instrument. The low E reinforcement bar adds strength on the lower keys, and there is an innovative barrel design to allow just enough resistance for the instrument to speak in the player’s voice.

The Serenade is equipped with Valentino synthetic pads and comes with a Leblanc hard rubber mouthpiece. The Leblanc Serenade’s case features backpack straps, a shoulder strap and carrying handle for convenience, and also has ample storage in the back pocket.

Light and easy to play, the Prologue clarinet offers immediate comfort. Ergonomic keywork specially designed for clarinetists of all levels enables a natural and rapid adaptation to the instrument. Ease of response and emission is ensured through its specifically designed bore, as well as enormous flexibility across all registers of the instrument and homogeneity of sound from top to bottom. Acoustic research has allowed for an optimization of the instrument’s intonation, which puts the Prologue in a remarkable position in its category.
